Taproot Tea Company believes in the concept of taking care of people as well as the planet.   That is why we are dedicated to our high quality, eco-friendly tea company that reflects our true beliefs in leaving the least amount of waste and impact behind. 

 

What are we doing?

 

·       Our teas are made from 100% organic or wildharvested teas and herbs. 

·       Our herbs come from carefully chosen sources:  well-known and sustainable herb companies, local growers, locally and responsibly wildcrafted. 

·       Our green & black teas come from a biodynamic tea farm, which is organic, sustainable and fair-trade.

·       Our tea bags are made with recycled natural kraft paper (40% recycled material/25% post-consumer waste) and are biodegradable.

·       Our teas are loose-leaf, rather than individually bagged, to provide the highest quality and freshness in smaller batches, AND to cut down on paper use.

·       All herbs, teas and food products are composted.
