These herbal and green tea blends pay homage to the natural beauty that surrounds us.  The Great Smoky Mountains are known worldwide for their biological diversity of plants, animals and invertebrates, with over 90,000 species believed to inhabit the area.  These ancient mountains create a ripple of ridges visable for miles, covering well over 500,000 acres of wilderness.  Within this vast area, a gem is nestled between national forests and gateway cities, the majestic Great Smoky Mountains National Park. 

 

We here at Taproot Tea Compnay are avid wanderers among this National Park and are fond of the hundreds of miles of trails it provides.  It is in honor that we offer these blends of teas named after some of the most popular trails and features of southern Appalachia.
